Alaska Airlines will stop flying from Honolulu on Sunday, the airline said in a statement.
The airline said the flight schedule was subject to change, but that it would resume flights to Alaska’s main airport in Anchorage on Monday, after the weather cleared.
The Alaska Airlines Flight 469 to Anchorage from Honolulu will resume normal operations on Monday.
The Alaskan Airlines website also will go down, but the company’s website will be back online within hours.
The Alaska plane was carrying about 200 passengers when it left Honolulu at about 3 p.m. local time (4 p.M. ET).
